White Russian Competition Winners - The Northern Whig
For the past 2 months now, the White Russian crew and a few of the web site’s friends have been touring some of Belfast’s top pubs and clubs for the ‘best White Russian’ cocktail.
Bars were evaluated by:

Ingredients used.

Staffs knowledge of the drink and
-
Any additional extras used by the bar.
This
year, there were two – three close contenders, but the winner in the end was
the Northern Whig who, like the runner–up The Botanic Inn, scored full marks
on the given criteria.
What marked the Northern Whig the clear winner though was
the cherry that came with the Caucasian.
The Northern Whig is a bar close to the center of town, which attracts an older clientele than most of the student bars found on the golden mile. The service is very commendable and we here at the White Russian strongly urge our viewers to go, at least once. The music gets 5/5 pimp daddies of funk, you don’t get that much place else.

about the White Russian and how the staff are fully trained in making cocktails.

that night we got to meet Shane, the barman responsible for the best White
Russian in Belfast.
