WhiteRussianOnline would like to personally thank our servers, QA Webhosting, for their efforts over the last week and a half:
What the hell happened?! One minute we were in the middle of the "Russian Hat Ho" countdown to the much anticipated St Paddies Day 2003, then the next thing KAHBLAM! Our server goes down and takes the entire site with it!
Pete reckons they may have been hacked, and he should know. Hell, knowing
Pete he was probably the one that hacked them in the first place!
(Pete: not so much a "hacker" as a "cyber-weasel")
Anyway, we are now back online, thanks mainly to the efforts of Pete.
No-one knows quite WHY he had the entire website backed-up on CD, but since
he helped us out in re-uploading the whole thing, no-one is going to mention
the phrase "to hack it".

(Pete borrows the Kolonels programming equipment - a big hat and an expensive
cigar - in order to get the site back up).
We haven't just been sitting around scratching our arse's while the site
has been down though. The J-man and I are working on the St Paddies Day 2003
article as we speak, and don't think our victory at the Destruction Derby
has been forgotten about either.

Thanks for being patient with us while we've been down, we're still not sure about the fate of the message board - we need the Kolonels expertise on this one and he hasn't been contactable since the server gave us the bad news about losing the site.
